In observance of the 12th Family Day in the Saskatchewan Province, the JRAM Prince Albert Family joined in the festivities on February 19. Our regular Sunday worship service focused on family stewardship, particularly underscoring the importance of being responsible and trustworthy guardians and managers of God’s blessings upon each household.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the bountiful feast provided by volunteer families and individuals. The buffet table never ran out of food; there was more than enough for everyone who came. An enjoyable mini-presentation ensued. The men’s group came up with their own “Unplugged Serenade” which featured throwback greatest Pinoy hit music from the 70s up to 2015! It was indeed a hearty trip down memory lane for those who grew up to the music of VST and Company, Apo Hiking Society, Rey Valera, Parokya ni Edgar, and Brian White.
The women’s group did their own dance presentation as well while the children got their full dose of fun and prizes from the various games they played.
It is the goal of JRAM Prince Albert to make each day a Christ-honoring family day, 365 days a year!
